Five days crossing Tierra del Fuego from north to south to sail Parry Fjord, at the heart of Almirantazgo Sound.
The expedition crosses the Strait of Magellan at its narrowest point, between Punta Delgada and Bahía Azul, then continues down the Isla Grande to where the road ends: Caleta María. From there we sail into Parry Fjord to approach four glaciers descending from the Darwin Range — Reina Isabel, Darwin, Cuevas and Nueva Zelanda — with two nights camped on the shore of the fjord.
Along the way you may sight elephant seals, king penguins, leopard seals, cormorants, petrels and black-browed albatross.

The expedition begins in Punta Arenas, crossing the Strait of Magellan into Tierra del Fuego and travelling across the island to Caleta María, one of the remote points where the road comes to an end.
The journey continues to Cordillera Darwin Lodge, where we settle in and share a welcome dinner before setting out the following day on the navigation stage through Parry Fjord.
IMMERSIVE MOMENT Leaving the mainland behind and venturing deep into Tierra del Fuego, to the point where the road gives way to the fjord.From Caleta María, we set out by boat toward the fjords of Parry Bay, travelling deep into Admiralty Sound and leaving the last traces of the road behind.
On arrival, we set up camp along the fjord. In the afternoon, we hike toward Reina Isabel Glacier, one of the great glaciers descending from the Cordillera Darwin.
The day ends back at camp, surrounded by water, mountains and ice.
IMMERSIVE MOMENT Reaching the Reina Isabel Glacier viewpoint after navigating into one of the most remote corners of Tierra del Fuego.The day begins with a boat journey from camp toward the Darwin Glacier, where we go ashore to explore the surroundings and hike to a viewpoint overlooking Parry Fjord and the Cordillera Darwin.
After the hike, we return to the boat and continue exploring Parry Bay, with time to land once more and walk through its remote landscapes before heading back to camp.
IMMERSIVE MOMENT Standing before the Darwin Glacier, surrounded by the fjord and the mountains of the Cordillera Darwin.Our final day on the water begins as we leave the Parry Bay camp behind and continue exploring toward the Cuevas and Nueva Zelanda glaciers.
We go ashore near Cuevas Glacier and set out on foot toward Nueva Zelanda Glacier, crossing a landscape shaped by ice and rock, with the Cordillera Darwin ever present around us.
After lunch, we begin the return journey by boat to Cordillera Darwin Lodge in Caleta María.
IMMERSIVE MOMENT Walking between two glaciers before bidding farewell to Parry Fjord.The expedition begins its return from Cerro Sombrero, continuing to Bahía Azul to cross the Strait of Magellan by ferry before completing the final overland stretch to Punta Arenas.
Arriving back in the city brings five days of navigation, camping and exploration through one of Patagonia’s most remote landscapes to a close.
